Ashton is a rising junior in Quincy house concentrating in Government with a secondary in Neuroscience. On campus, Ashton works as a Ministry Team Leader for Harvard College Faith & Action and is an active member of the Black Pre-Law Association and Harvard's Black Men's Forum.
Outside of schoolwork, Ashton can be found exploring the city with friends, playing football or basketball, or informing his classmates why Texas is the best state in the United States. As a movie connoisseur, he also thoroughly enjoys watching good films.
Jessica is a first-year in Straus Hall intending to study Psychology and African-American Studies. She’s looking forward to competing over the next four years with the lovely members of HMTA.
Outside of Mock Trial, Jessica is a member of the Fellows and Study Groups and Politics of Race and Ethnicity committees at the Institute of Politics. In her free time, she can be found in the kitchen perfecting her scone recipe, binging Law and Order: SVU, and laughing with family and friends.
Osazi Al Khaliq
Osazi is a sophomore in Winthrop who intends to study Philosophy with a secondary in Government. Along with Mock Trial, Osazi participates in the Harvard Debate Council and Black Pre-Law Association.
Outside of Mock Trial, Osazi spends his weekends volunteering for Takeoff Space, a nonprofit organization that matches college mentors to academically brilliant, low-income high school students and helps them with college applications. In his free time Osazi enjoys exploring Harvard for secret tunnels, writing poetry, and eating good meals.
Stella is a sophomore in Kirkland studying Economics with a secondary in Government. She has participated in mock trial for five years, competing at Nationals three times. Stella is incredibly excited to be a part of the Harvard Mock Trial community and to work with all of the amazing people on the team.
Outside of Mock Trial, Stella offers legal information about Massachusetts small claims law, paints, and attempts to brew her own kombucha.
St. Louis, MO
Jacob is a junior in Currier studying neuroscience with a secondary in philosophy. Outside of Mock Trial, he volunteers with the Small Claims Advisory Service and the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. He also writes for the Harvard Political Review.
After competing in Mock Trial in high school Jacob decided to continue his interest in studying the intricacies of the law and the American courtroom by competing with HMTA. Outside of Mock Trial, Jacob can be found singing, dancing, procrastinating, and sassing his friends.

Cara is a first-year in Lionel and plans to concentrate in Government and History. She is also a staff writer for the Harvard Crimson covering labor at the University and a member of the Harvard Votes Challenge. An aspiring litigator, Cara loves talking about anything and everything politics or law. When not studying, writing, or organizing, Cara can be found dancing offbeat to BTS with friends, rereading Narnia for the zillionth time, or golfing with her parents.
Amid the pandemic, Cara is grateful for the challenge, camaraderie, and laughter she’s found through HMTA.
Franklin Lakes, NJ
Cayla is a first-year in Pennypacker Hall. She plans on concentrating in History or Government and pursuing a citation in Spanish before heading to law school. In high school, Cayla was very involved in DECA and her school’s mock trial team. She is so excited to be a part of the HMTA community and spend the next four years learning from her teammates.
When not competing or hanging out with the team, Cayla likes to read, do logic puzzles, listen to musicals, and watch basketball.
Kejsi is a first-year student in Hollis Hall intending to study Government with a focus on the Balkans and a citation in French. In addition to Mock Trial, Kejsi is actively involved with the Harvard Political Review and the Harvard Albanians Students Association. She is also the Vice President on the Junior Advisory Board at the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. In her free time, Kejsi enjoys going to the gym, practicing her French, and listening to music (she has the BEST music taste). Kejsi is beyond excited to compete with HMTA for the next four years!
James is a junior in Currier House studying Social Studies with a secondary in Statistics. He has participated in Mock Trial since his junior year of high school, and he is excited to serve as a Director of the Angela R. Mathew Seminar Program!
Outside of Mock, James tutors and mentors young people in the Franklin Fields community through the Franklin After-School Enrichment program, manages fundraising for the Black Pre-Law Association, and gives tours of Harvard's campus. James loves the Mock Trial community for giving him a home at Harvard.
Travis is a sophomore in Dunster House, joint concentrating in Social Studies and African-American Studies. After competing in high school Mock Trial Team for four years (Including going to the HMTA High School Seminars Program!) Travis continued his Mock Trial career at HMTA, competing with a bunch of amazing people, and captaining his sophomore year.Outside of Mock Trial, Travis is a proud baritone singing with the Harvard Opportunes and Inclusivity Chair for the First-Year Black Table. In his free time, he loves playing guitar, writing songs, and saying "Period!" way too often.
Braedon McCrae Price
Bowling Green, KY
Braedon is a first-year in Weld Hall, concentrating in either Government or Economics while pursuing a secondary in Environmental Science and Public Policy. In high school, Braedon was extremely involved in speech competitions, Varsity soccer, FFA, and community service. He’s beyond excited to be joining the HMTA community this year and can’t wait to bring his passion for public speaking and agricultural advocacy to Harvard.
Outside of Mock Trial, Braedon loves working as an Associate in the Harvard College Consulting Group and is a member of the amazing Harvard College Faith and Action community.

Audrey is a sophomore in Winthrop House, concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Computer Science and a citation in Mandarin. Audrey competed in mock trial throughout high school and couldn't stop when she got to college—especially after seeing how awesome everyone in HMTA is.
When she is not doing mock trial, she's working on a case in the Harvard College Consulting Group or helping to staff a Model UN Committee.
Swartz Creek, MI
Jacob is a first-year who lived in Greenough Hall his first semester and will be attending class virtually from home his second semester. He plans to concentrate in Economics with a secondary in Government, then head to law school. He joined HMTA after competing for three years in his high school mock trial program.
Beyond HMTA, Jacob is a member of the Harvard University Band and an Assistant Director in Harvard Model United Nations and Harvard National Model United Nations. He enjoys playing the piano, which he quickly learned is a common skill at Harvard.

Simone is a rising sophomore in Mather House and plans to concentrate in Social Studies. Unlike Travis, she did not attend the HMTA High School Seminars Program, but she is so excited to continue with Mock Trial in college!
Outside of Mock Trial, Simone is involved with the Resource Efficiency Program and is always happy to talk about environmental issues (particularly as it relates to Harvard’s sustainability programs). She loves to hike, read, and spend time with friends and family. Her 9 a.m. class necessitates caffeine; ask her for caffeine recommendations beyond your usual coffee.
Maison is a junior in Pforzheimer House studying Social Studies with a citation in Spanish. In addition to Mock Trial, Maison volunteers as a peer counselor and peer educator, works at the Harvard Alumni Association and the Quad Grille, and participates in legal advocacy groups.
In her (limited) free time, Maison can be found reading, writing, or watching terrible Netflix movies. She is commonly seen in Cabot Cafe just before midnight, trying desperately to finish a paper by the deadline.
Nathaniel is a junior in Currier House studying Neurobiology. He joined HMTA his freshman year, and after a year competing together, having led the B-Team as a Co-Captain, and having found some of his best friends here, Nathaniel can't imagine his life without the challenge and excitement of Mock Trial and especially without his amazing teammates.
Outside of Mock Trial, Nathaniel edits the Harvard College Law Review, conducts research, acts in plays, or just talks all night with his friends, debating anything from Hobbes to Haydn.
Patricia is a senior in Quincy House concentrating in English with a secondary in East Asian Studies. She is so thankful for being on Harvard Mock Trial because she has met some of her best friends on the team!
Patricia currently serves as one of the Program Captains and loves helping with the High School Seminars Program every year! Outside of mock, she loves poetry, National Parks, and barre classes.

Sherry is a first-year studying Economics with a secondary in Computer Science. In high school, she was heavily involved in speech & debate but is incredibly excited to join the mock trial team at Harvard!
Other than Mock Trial, Sherry is passionate about sustainability, intersectionality, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Nick is a junior in Currier House studying Social Studies. He is honored to be a Director of the Angela R. Mathew Seminar Program this year! Outside of Mock, Nick serves as the Director of Events for Harvard's Alexander Hamilton Society, staffs model government conferences all around the world through Harvard Model Congress, and helps clients navigate Massachusetts Small Claims Court.
Nick is so grateful for the friends he's made through HMTA, which have helped him endure being away from his two beloved dogs.
San Francisco, CA
Fatoumata Ouedrago is a sophomore living in Quincy, studying government as well as pursuing a language citation in Spanish. She is passionate about advocating for human rights and is especially interested in criminal justice.
Outside of Mock Trial, Fatou is a part of the competitive traveling Model UN Team and a director at Harvard’s Model UN Conferences for high school and college students. She also loves reading, writing, and listening to music!
Emily is a senior in Cabot House studying Romance Languages and Literatures.
She competed in Mock Trial since her freshman year at the high school level for Edinburg North High School. She is also involved in Latinx organizations on campus and loves dancing (Ghungroo). In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends, go exploring Boston, listen to music (esp. Kendrick Lamar), and write/perform poetry.
Des Plaines, IL
Daniel is a freshman, intending on concentrating in either Government or Sociology. Additionally, Daniel intends to pursue a citation in Korean.
Outside of Mock Trial, Daniel volunteers at Harvard’s Small Claims Advisory Council and at the Institute of Politics. Daniel can also be seen reading mystery novels, playing video games, listening to an eclectic collection of Kpop songs, exploring Boston, and bullet journaling.
Jack is a junior in Currier House studying History and Government. Outside of Mock Trial, Jack serves on the Undergraduate Council, teaches for IOP Civics, and works for the Financial Aid Office.
Jack has also been heavily involved in political campaigns and loves to run, hike, and backpack. He plans on joining the U.S. Marine Corps after graduation and (at some point) finally going to law school.
Meena is a senior in Adams House studying English literature and South Asian studies. She is the founder of the South Asian Americans in Public Service initiative at Harvard and Stories from the Border, a journalistic platform for immigration and border storytelling.
In her free time, Meena enjoys reading and writing about American political trends, U.S. immigration law, and English literature. She aspires to become a political journalist and legal scholar, and has contributed to ABC News, POLITICO, and FiveThirtyEight.
Crystal is a junior in Currier House studying Economics and English. She will also graduate with an SM in Applied Mathematics through the Advanced Standing Program. She joined HMTA during her first-year and received All-National Honors that year. She co-directed the Angela R. Mathew Seminar Program and co-captained an HMTA team during the competitive season her sophomore year.
Outside of mock trial, Crystal conducts economics research and is involved with the First-Year Urban Program. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and baking.

Elly is a rising senior in Eliot House studying Social Studies and Neuroscience. Along with mock trial, Elly serves as a peer counselor, is a member of the Institute of Politics, and plays on the club lacrosse team.
While serving as a co-director for the Angela R. Mathew High School Seminar Program, Elly can also be found procrastinating, frantically reading Soc-Std98 books, listening to the Glass Animals, watching Game of Thrones, and laughing with/at her friends.

Ryan is a senior in Mather House pursuing a degree in Social Studies. Ryan began competing in Mock Trial his freshman year in high school..
Outside of Mock Trial, Ryan loves opera, hockey, and all-things the West Wing. He also chairs the policy program through the Institute of Politics, and works as a research assistant in the Department of Government, and music directs the Mozart Society Orchestra.
